I like writing. I really do. People say I'm good at it. I like playing with words, making things sound eloquent by changing just a few words.
Which is why I think it's funny that I really don't like English. I never honestly have. I don't see the point in knowing the different parts of a sentence. Prepositional phrases, indirect objects, dependent clauses? I don't intend to be a editor when I grow up. The only real use I see for English is that it's character building.
The second thing I find funny is that I'm good at something I could care less about. Always get A's, its stupid.
Life is funny some times.

BELT TESTING!!!!!!
Dude, I got the results! My teacher, Master Baca, says that we're gonna have belt testing next weekend. And he finally told us which ones were ready for sure to take the test. He wants to have the whole class ready to test, but he said that three kids were ready to go. The three in the front row.
Guess who stands in the front row?
Tomoko, Hideo, ME!
It is so totally awesome! I am stoked! The three of us all taking the test at once, completely WICKED SWEET! (You can tell because I'm using all my surfer slang)
I also got second place for a raffle. Person who sold ten candles got entered for a drawing. First place was six months free lessons. (Another friend of mine got that, Sid. He'll probably be ready for the test by the time it comes) I got a $50 gift certificate for anything in the store. I wanna buy some nunchaku (Nunchucks if you don't know better) and get myself in the Weapons Class. That would be so cool, but I don't know if I have enough for that.
Poor Master Baca hurt his back. Hope he starts feeling better. Reagan's got a private gymnastics class with him tommorow morning. I wanna tag along and ask him and his other black belts some questions about the belt testing. And see about those nunchakus!
He said the class would spar on Monday. Oh boy.
Monday's entry: Monday's injuries.

Late Night Pondering
Good gosh. I don't know why I can't sleep. It's gonna be midnight and I'm not tired. We even went to Clovis. I guess I'm just bored. I'm so dead if my parents catch me on the computer this late.
I think my problem is that I think to much. I can't help it. So many thoughts, so many ideas, and barely any of them ever make it out. Sometimes I wonder, what's the point of thinking all these incredible thoughts when hardly any one ever hears them? And if they are heard, who even cares?
Does everybody think great thoughts? Or just a few extraordinary people? How many of those ideas are ever acted on? Is not acting on what we think and using the inspiration that comes from every aspect of nature a crime?
Is it possible to explode from every thing left unspoken? To one day, burst out and scream everything you've ever dreamed to whoever who will listen? Is that what drives some people crazy? Because, until then, no one ever listened?
Does it hurt to know the answers when nobody will listen? How about asking questions when you know no one will answer? What about learning the answers to questions you never wanted to know?
Why do we think? We don't ask to. For the most part, I don't think we intend to. It just happens. As long as we live, we think. We wonder and question.
I don't know, maybe I'm just insane. Does any one other than me even think like this? Maybe I'm the only one and that's just how it's supposed to be.

Glowing Nails, Crouching Weasel
Gosh, why does the week start off busy?
Today, I had to get out of my nice warm bed to change into a pair of freezing jeans, midly chilly shirt, and yesterday's socks (they were the first pair I saw). But Mom is merciful and turned on the heater in the bathroom so it could have been worse.
After the usual hustle out the door, we had to go to the hospital. Nothing to worry about, I just had to pick up some money from a class mate who is a nurse. I've decided I don't like hospitals. I've known that for a while, but now I'm simply coming to terms with it.
Once that was over, we took off for Clovis. I had a dentist appoinment. I also decided I don't much like denist offices either. My orthodontist, cool. My dentist, not so much. Dentists are too quite, and they seem to like finding out exactly how many different tools and fingers they can fit in your mouth at once. I don't like that game. The nurse that was cleaning my teeth had to tell me to stop biting down. Subconcious impulse, I do it to my orthodontist too.
Then we went to Burger King. I got myself a nice paper crown to make up for having to go to the hospital and dentist before lunch. Burger King was interesting, I think two people got fired while we were there. I never got the whole story though.
Walmart was next, and I found some glow-in-the-dark nail polish. I am really happy with it. Shows up really bright. Dad made a good point that if I'm going to be any good at the ninja business, why do I paint my fingers so people can see them? Mom stepped in saying that I'd wear ninja gloves. I also got a plastic ax-staff that I'm going to use for my costume. I don't know exactly what I'm going to be yet, but so far I have a tattered black tunic, my ax-staff, and maybe a pair of boots. I'll probably end up as some kind of warrior. Just don't what kind yet. I'm gonna try for Barbarian.
Kickboxing was really fun. I love the grappling (floor wrestling). I have this friend Dustin. He was wrestling my other friend Sid. Dustin was doing something wrong. So I stepped in for Sid to show Dustin how to do it right. Long story short, we ended up wrestling. Dustin managed to throw me off with a bridge. (You're sitting on somebody, really laying into them. They grab one of your fists on the way down and then throw their hips up. If done correctly, the person on top goes flying over bottom person's shoulder.) I was a good distance away, and finally got to try what I had been wanting to do for as long as I had been grappling.
I tackled him.
From what my mom says, I pounced like one of our cats. Jordan said she knew what I was going to do when she saw the look on my face and how I had my legs. All I remember was froghopping right into Dustin, the noise he made when first I and then the floor knocked the air out of him, and my mom and his mom laughing. He had been standing on his knees, and I think I hit him right around the waist. Dustin fell right over and then I got into the full-mount (sitting with one leg on either side of his waist. Little bit above the hips). In class, you pretend hit. Just act like your beating your partner up. So I was sitting on him, swinging my fists like I was beating him up. I figured out he wasn't gonna get me off again, and so I stopped "hitting" him. Put one finger on his forehead and declared his fate. Dead. Then got up and walked away.
Jordan says that most of the class had circled around us. Which makes sense. Sid and my partner/friend Tomoko were waiting on me and Dustin to finish. Another pair consited of another of my friends Hideo, (Tomoko's younger brother) and a guy whose in the class to lose weight (Can't remember name). The two of htem had been kinda taking it easy for most of the class. Hideo is really good (Big, tall, strong. Think Cyborg from the Teen Titans cartoon) and I think he didn't want to hurt the guy on accident.
Any ways, Jordan said that after I walked away from Dustin, she and Tomoko started clapping. She also said that the whole time Hideo was watching and just had this huge smile on his face. (Going back to that Cyborg thing, I'd be Beast Boy. The sort of scrawny kid who's always right there with the jokes that's tougher than he looks. We're really good friends, known each other a long time. Into the same stuff for the most part. We give each other tips and info on a ton of things. Kickboxing, Guitar Hero, stuff like that.) Mom said that Dustin's face when I got him was too funny and that in addition to cat pouncing, I had managed to stay close to the floor. Of course I don't remember any of this. I know I like grappling. I know I'm decent at grappling. I was really paying attetion to anything, I was more worried about Dustin's mother or Master Baca getting after me for tackling like that. Mom said Mrs. Hight was just laughing and laughing.
Which makes me feel like I've done a good day's work.

New Blog
Hey, want all you guys to know that I've got a new blog up, titled Levels of Insanity. But don't worry, I'll still post here. The plan is that Levels will be where I post random stuff, like information on cartoons I'm into and opinions of why roller coasters are good for your health. Pretty much if I'm not sure everybody else will be into it, it'll be on Levels. Rather Be will contain updates of normal life and stuff like that. I'll try and get a link to Levels on this site, so bear with me. It's still a baby, so I'm gonna fix 'er up.
I've got some pretty good news. My Algebra class is going great. I got the results for my first chapter of work and test. Got a 100 for the homework (Can't Touch This!) and a 93 for my test. My mom has made a deal with me, if I get a 100 on a test, I get a milkshake. I got a really awesome set of earrings for my homework. It felt good just to get that 93. I'm not a mathematician by birth, and my teacher said I got the only A in class. Which is sad considering I'm the youngest one in there at 15.
Got a hobby (FINALLY!) that doesn't involve sitting in front of a screen. I've started doing kickboxing, but its not cut and dry kickboxing. My class learns kickboxing, boxing, jiu jistu, a couple karate forms, self defense, and all sorts of stuff. I LOVE it to the death. As far as I can tell, I'm doing really well. We're going to have a belt test soon, and hopefully I'll be ready to take the test and get my yellow belt. And after that at somepoint, there's gonna be a tournament with kids from all over the area, I want to compete SO BAD. It sounds horrible, but I want that rush from fighting somebody. Putting it all on the edge of a knife in the pursuit of glory. It would rock to win, but just to be able to show all that I've learned. Glory and honor baby, glory and honor.
Then under the boring category, I have to do my Record book. I really don't like having to do them. But every thing has a price and this is the one for 4-h.
I'm gonna have to wrap this up and start working on Levels for a little while. Scroll down to the bottom and see my new picture. I love it. Tell me what you think.

Upps.
Holy cow, I'm back! Can't believe it takes this long. Sorry to all, been really busy with stuff. You'll understand when I cotinue.
I'm taking two college courses. Algebra 10 and Communications 102. Pretty much Math and a Speech class. I go to an alternative school which works really well for me because I only have to go out every 10 days. Bad thing, no class. So you figure it all out on your own. Let me tell you, figuring out Geometry is killer when your really just going off of the examples in the book. So, I'm a 15 year old highschool junior taking college math.
I AM FREAKY SMART KID! And dang proud of it too.
The Speech class is because I'm going to try for a State 4-H Leadership position, Ambassador or Diplomat, either works for me. Apparently, my county hasn't had somebody with a state leadership position for quite a while. So it should be interesting.
And don't worry, I'm still taking highschool classes. History and English. Boo to Prepositions! Everything else, doesn't get a boo.
Then this weekend, I should be out in the hot sun in front of a museum I've only been in twice. Why? Because I have to run a booth for the dinosaur museum. Except I have no idea what I'm doing. Not to mention one of the guys I'm stuck working with is a obsessive control freak. Oh well, got to do what needs to be done.
I have to go combat the dreaded foe of prepositions now. Why do we have them? They don't really need to have four chapters of a book devoted to them?
WHY!?!?!?!?
Toodles.

Ketchup Is Nasty
And with that statement, on with the post!
I competed in County Contest to great success. As I stated at church, I and the other present 4-Hers kicked butt. Looking back, that may not have been exactly appropriate.
Starting a 2-day cooking school on Thursday. Looks cool, but I don't know anything about the chef, other students, or how it's all gonna go down. Should be fun.
I also have to come up with a few crowdbreakers for District Contest, along with maybe a skit. I've got a few ideas, but if all of them get shot down, I can always grab the mike and go freestyle.
My dad is getting ordained as a pastor this weekend. Big dealio: grandparents, uncle, pastor buddy of my dad's, potluck dinner. Pretty much, the whole deal. Interested in how it's going to work out.
Probably should say more, but am trying to move fast. So bye bye.

Stumped for a Title
In the last episode of "I'd Rather Be Pillaging", I was talking about something. I can't remember. It was heart pounding, mind boggling, and thought provoking. And yet, it left one incredible question unanswered....
Why does Carmen want to be the Flash????
Sadly, I'm not going to answer that question right now. It is now 11:45 PM and any one with sense in my time zone is either sleeping or getting ready to. As you can see, I have no sense.
Umm. I can't remember what drove me to get up and blog. Oh, I didn't want to watch the Perfect Man. We have a mutual friend of mine and Reagan's over for a few nights, so I might be getting in a few posts to escape cheesy romance movies or other such movies I've seen a hundred times. It doesn't matter what genre a movie may be in, after seeing it over twenty times, it becomes lame. Now if only Reagan would realize that.
Tommorow I have Geometry, Writing, and workshops to get ready for County Contest. I seriously need to start working on my poem, Tolkien's version of Hey Diddle Diddle. Then the day after that, I go to work at the museum. Warning: Donny is not the best company when he is trying to figure out which resin bones are toes and which are fingers. Hopefully, Steve will be there to bless us all with golf terms and corny jokes. Saturday, I have nothing planned other than school work. Sunday, I go to church and maybe do more school work. Or I could just watch One Piece and Naruto.
I may be getting a special job at District Contest. There is a boy who has a problem that keeps him from being able to read well and understand what he's reading, at least thats what I gathered from my briefing. I may end up being a kind of baysitter/cattledriver/private reader for this kid. Which won't be to hard, though I have to admit, I was kinda looking forward to bugging my Novice and Junior buddies between their contests. Bugging is my form of support.
I'm also hunting for two teammates for the Senior Home Ec. Bowl team. In the past, (I'll be honest) I was really looking for people to fill chairs. I knew all the questions and the guys who got the seats got to get a medal for just sitting still and answering a few questions each. Now, I have to find three other Seniors who will study the questions because each person on a team HAS to answer questions. Strangely, my team usually is made up of boys. Football players, track runners, crack shots, yep, a bunch of boys who could tell you a thing of two about Home Economics.
So far I have an old Archery buddy of mine, football player, and track runner, Matt. He's been one of the fillers for a while. But he knows the questions. When I told him about Improptu Speaking (IP), he asked if the topics would be about storing chocolate.
Another guy I really want to get for my team is Wanita or Chris, another football player and track dude. Before you think anything, Matt and I call Chris Wanita because he at one point had to wear an old apron with Wanita written across it in big letters. The name stuck, and now he is Wanita. He once got the winning question for a game. (We were like 40 points ahead but it was the last question of the game) But he's a Junior, so I'm hoping we can sneak him in to fill the team. Plus he is an absolute blast.
Another guy who could be really good at this is Patrick. Archery dude, I think he would really be a good assest to the team. But that depends on if he likes it, and with Patrick, you never know...
Gosh, this sounds like some draft report. Well, the posts write themselves sometimes. I have to go to bed now, I'm about ready to konk out over the keyboard. If I did that, I would have keyboard impressions all over my face. And frankly, no matter what the boys say, I like my face just as it is.
(Insulting and then complementing and repeating is a form of friendship between me and several people)

(Insulting and then complementing and repeating is a form of friendship between me and several people)

Holy Phlarghnne!
I am sooooo sorry everybody. I was very bad about school work and was grounded from Internet, which meant no blogging. But now I'm back and I guess I have to start burning some keyboard. Its almost summer, meaning that I'm going to have to start hauling some rear to keep up with everything.
I've been contacted about babysitting a pair of kids once or twice every week. Which is really no big deal, they are really a sweet pair and don't give me any trouble. Boy and girl, boy is oldest and the little girl has a smile that could melt an ice statue made of permafrost. They're both under the age of seven, I think. They have these two friends (a pair of brothers) that I kind of end up taking care of. So all I really do is make sure they don't get lifted from the playground and they all play nicely. Like I said, all really sweet kids, its honestly alot of fun babysitting them.
Then the 4-h situation is that the County Contest is coming up fast and District quick on its heels with State Conference in a close third. I'm competing in County, helping at District, and competing at State (hopefully!). But I'm really looking forward to a new contest, for me anyways, Improptu Public Speaking. I'll write more on that later, but as far as I can tell, you pull a topic out of hat, have a couple of minutes to figure out what your going to say and BAM! you give a speech on the topic you just picked. You also gotta stretch it out to last over 3 minutes. But as my mom says, most of my presentations are Improptu. So I'm not totally worried.
As for the Dino museum, the German magazine is heading to print. You know, I have just decided to put it out of thought and out of mind. I'll deal with whatever idiotic nonsense I said when I have to. The museum is also having a Adventure Dig, like a week long dino camp, except the kids don't leave for a big beautiful cabin in the mountains. I really want to work that, but it kinda sorta clashes with District Contest.
There are times I wish I was the Flash. Hey, a kid can dream.

In Need of Translation
A while back, my dad commented that reading my blog was like trying to read something in a different language. Jabbing me about spelling mistakes and whatnot. Now I will defend my blogging honor. If I wanted to write in a different language, I would just do this....
I was pretty busy at work finding a bunch of new teeth and stuff. We had this couple come in from Tennessee (I think) that I got to give a tour to. They were pretty cool, and they had these really strong accents. I was afraid that I was gonna misunderstand something that they said and make a fool of myself. But nothing of the sort happened, and all was well.
My dad found this website that gives you these really obscure titles. Mine was Baroness Carmen the Purple. Its fine but it would have been really cool if it had been the Orange.
I'm probably gonna go see TMNT so time during the week. I know, I know, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?! I'm a Turtle fan, OK? And proud of it. I really hope they don't mess the characters up. But the movie is animated, a strong step in the right direction. All the clips I've seen give me hope.
Have to go to school on Thursday and am gonna have to start working my butt off to get everything done in time.
A friend and me switched Titans games, I have game 1 and he has game 2. We'll switch back on Thursday, and heaven help him if he messes my game up!!
That is a post in another language!

This is What We Call an Update
Urgh, I'm tired. I woke up way too early then couldn't fall back asleep. I don't now how many hours of sleep I missed.
Pray for Logan & Clovis. They got hit pretty badly by quite a few tornadoes, alot of damage from what I've heard.
Got the Long Road by Nickelback yesterday. Good cd but if you don't like rock, don't do it. But still a really good CD none the less.
This week's pain in the neck: Our dish satellite is supposed to record whatever stuff I set to record. It's standard stuff. It was really cool, we didn't have to worry about missing shows cause it would record. But now its not working. The little marker for "set to record" is there, it's just not recording. AND IT'S GETTING ON MY NERVES!!!!! I don't know what is wrong with it.
Ever been in a situation where you're up against somebody who knows exactly where to hit you to make it hurt the worst. Every body expects you to come out on top. The best part? You have no idea how you're gonna pull this off.
I have a track record for pulling things out of my hat. Fixing stuff that other people can't or figuring out stuff other people can't. Naturally every body expects me to be able to find out why it's not working and fix it. So they can all watch their tv shows. Everybody except Reagan has something they want/need to record.
So when I can't figure something out, they all come and hover over my shoulder. Suggesting things I've already tried, asking why it isn't working, wanting to know what I'm doing, and demanding to know if the show is gonna record. My favorite one is saying I'm probably not doing something right and then they try to fix it. It usually ends with me getting back the screwdriver or remote or whatever I'm using to try and fix the unruly thing. And then I end up fixing it.
This has me stumped. I mean honestly stumped, we may have to call the installer. I have to go do the dishes and then geometery, and then I will gather my forces and figure out the best way to go about solving my problem.

Not Afraid Of Almost Everything
There's not much I'm afraid of. I love roller coasters, embrace darkness, and am willing climb up to great heights. My sister is constantly pulling my hand away from candles. Talking in front of crowds is easy for me. I try to catch lizards, just to see if I can. Water is my friend and I love thunderstorms. Spiders are cool, no matter what any body says! Along with crocodiles, snakes, millipedes, and all other things with fangs, scales, and numerous legs. Mice are cute! Frogs and toads are not going to give me warts, so I'll catch them if I want. I can be alone and totally keep myself entertained. I'm not going to die until God says I am. Being my goofy random self is more fun than conforming to what every one expects. I haven't heard of a fear that I totally agree with and say, "Wow, dude! That totally freaks me out!!"
There are few things I am afraid of. There are a few people out there I can see reading that last sentence and going into shock. Those people have asked me time and time again "What are you afraid of?" They'll list off common and uncommon fears alike. I'll tell them time and time again that I'm not afraid. Because everything they suggest is all stuff that really has no true impact on my life. Ok, maybe a plane crash would have an impact on my life. But unless God decides I'm gonna be in a plane crash, I really don't have anything to worry about. And its up to Him to decide whether or not I die in that plane crash. As there is nothing I can do about it, it's not worth my time and energy to be afraid.
But the things I can do something about, that is the category my biggest fears fall under.
Failing is one. It sounds cliche, but it's true. I'm afraid someday, I may not be good enough. Regret is another. The idea of looking back on my life when I'm older and seeing a million things I never did, never said, never experienced is truely terrifying to me. Both of those tie in to my greatest fear. I don't know exactly what to call it.
My biggest fear is failing to make an impact, in any way. Not being an impact on my friends. Not accomplishing every thing that I want to do. No, everything that I NEED to do. I've been told I can do just about everything. Been told so many times, that it's become a part of me. Every other moment, I remind myself of exactly what I have to do before my time runs out. That is very simple.
I have to rock so hard, that I'll be heard in space. Have to shine so bright, the world has to wear sun glasses. Make a name for myself, so I'll never be forgotten. Do something incredible so kids years from now will hear about me. In short, I wanna make history.
Pretty modest goals, huh? I don't know how I'm gonna do it, but that what I intend to do. And being afraid of things that aren't going to affect that goal aren't worth it. Besides, life is less fun living according to restrictions we put on ourselves that are really, truely, insanely, extremely stupid.
The fact that I'm going to make history makes my job choice crucial. What I do as an occupation could either make my dream or break it. That may explain why I have no idea of what I want to do when I grow up. I can imagine what would happen if a counseler saw my long term & short term goals.
Long Term:
1. Make history in any way possible.
Short Term:
1. Sky dive
2. Bungee jump
3. Ride The Hulk roller coaster
4. Make six perfect bulls eyes in every round
5. Climb many mountains
6. Have my own tv show
7. Become a rockstar
8. Help all my buddies accomplish their long & short term goals
9. Find the Loch Ness Monster. I don't want to catch it, just prove that it exists.
10. Become a pirate
11. Dude, if I wrote down all my short term goals, you wouldn't have any paper left in the school, so I'm gonna leave it at that.
Hehehe, I'd probably say something like that too.

I Can't Cry
I feel like a jerk. I can't cry.
Today is the one year anivessary of my unborn brother's death. My dad and two sisters are in the living room crying, mourning. My mom is sick in bed and most likely is mourning along with them.
But I can't cry. I didn't cry until the very end. Maybe I thought that it was all just a dream gone bad. That if I smiled enough, laughed enough, prayed enough, that it would all go away. Maybe I was in denial.
The only time I can remember crying for my brother was the night we buryed him. Thats all. A few silent tears shed alone, back turned on my brother's grave. And after those tears were brushd away, no more came. I mourned him in my own way, and now I can't cry.
Maybe I've moved on and accepted the fact that he's better off. Maybe I'm still in denial. But it doesn't change the fact that I can't cry. I can't cry and I can't watch my family cry, not with out wanting to help them stop.
Some people may say that makes me brave. That wanting to help them makes me strong. I don't think so. It only makes me feels guilty, makes me feel like an intruder on their grief. It makes me feel worse watching them, because the reason I want them to stop crying is because they make me feel even worse. Even more guilty that I can't cry for my brother.
I don't know why I can't cry, all I know is that I can't.
I feel like some emotionless jerk. All because I can't cry.

It Takes a Thief
Dudes, if you ever get a chance, watch It Takes A Thief. It is absolutely incredible. These two guys used to be professional burglars, then turned around and decided to use their advanced thievery skills to help homeowners improve the safety of their homes and businesses.
How do they do that? By pointing out exactly what's wrong with the current security. And how do they do that? By breaking in and robbing their unsuspecting victims blind. There have even been times when the homeowners don't even know they've been robbed.
But don't worry, after the break-in, they return all the stuff and set up a new system with a bunch of high tech cameras and alarms. Then they try to break in again to make sure the new system works. And I haven't seen an episode where the new system doesn't work flawlessly.
The really incredible thing is watching the heist. There is only one guy who goes in. This guy is INSANE!!! I've watched him robbed a house with a nanny & multiple kids inside, passing within touching distance over four times, without being seen or heard. He's also broken into a garage/body shop and a house on a busy street. The really incredible parts are watching him take every thing out of the house. I repeat, IT IS INSANE!! The dude could be a ninja.
One guy breaks in, the other does security after the initial heist and explains what his buddy is doing during the heist (he stays in the van during the heist) , they both try to break in after the new tech comes in.
This show is incredible, take my advice. Watch It Takes a Thief the next chance you get. It is unbelievable. And who knows, you may learn something.

Get Ed Idol
Well, American Idol has started up once again. Simon, Paula, and Randy have gotten us down to the top twelve guys and gals.
I couldn't care less.
Now, I like Idol. But I don't like Hollywood week and I don't like watching the first eliminations. It's too early for me to find out who I like and who I don't like. I usually wait to watch until they cut maybe half of the top twelve. Then I start watching.
My family usually doesn't vote (special cases: Bo Bice & Chris Daughtry) but we will get very vocal about our opinions of the contestants. But like I said, I don't really watch until we get to the top six. They're all watching it now.
I wanna watch Get Ed. It's for younger kids, but I really like that show!! The theme song rocks! Dragon Booster isn't too bad, but I like Get Ed better. But Naruto, One Piece, Teen Titans, and Xiaolin Showdown reign supreme! Those four tie for 1st, Get Ed has 2nd place. At the moment any ways.
I have to go to work tommorow. I'm tired and I may be getting a cold. There's a new girl, Ashely. She's nice enough, a really good artist, super sharp. So far, thats all I've really found out about her. Well, that and she's from San Jon. I can try to learn a little more tommorow, if I can still function properly.
CURSE YOU, COMMON COLD!!
I feel better now. Ok, I don't, but I like to think I do! Urgh, I'm gonna wrap this up and go read the book I've been working on. Or maybe lie down for a while. I can't go to sleep 'cause I have to take control of the TV after Idol, or I'll never finish my episode of Get Ed! Stuck watching Suite Life til bedtime. If that happens I can always go to bed early... hmm. What ever, I gotta go. Later!

Alrighty then!
Ok, people. I don't know if any of you are reading any more! It's been so long since I heard from any of you!! *sniff*
Anyways, my new team blog is up now. It should be rather interesting. I have to warn you that there most likely be alot of talk about Naruto & Teen Titans. And that's really all I can offer at the time.
Should be fun.
Then again, I think every thing should be fun. It's one of my biggest problems according to my mom. That's just the way I am. And it's just the way I like it, even if it gets me into a bunch of messes.

Sorry
I have been bad and not posted. Bad Carmen!! Heh, I probably wouldn't be posting now if it wasn't for my friend Tyann and our new team blog. Our new baby bloggie is up and running. Address is www.whole-shabang.blogspot.com Phlarghnne
I have been totally busy with my Geometry. But my teacher says I do awesome proofs, so thats good. Phlarghnne
I also did some updating with the "I Have Nothing Better To Do" Blog. It is now the "I'd Rather Be Pillaging" Blog. Feedback on the new look would be appreciated. Phlarghnne
You may be wondering why I'm ending all my paragraphs with the word "Phlarghnne"( pronouced flarn). Today is Phlarghnne Day. Jordan and I have to say Phlargnne as our final word when we speak. It lasts until 7:00 tommorow. It should be interesting because my dad is preaching at House tommorow. By the way, my dad is the one who came up with Phlarghnne Day. I don't think it has a real meaning. Use it how you will. Phlarghnne
Well, I guess that's it. See you later. Phlarghnne

A Tale Of Tests
"Nothing is certain in life other than death & taxes." - Benjamin Franklin.
Ever heard that one? Well Ben, you forgot one thing, standardized tests. But we may forgive him as I don't think they were around back then. Not that I don't like tests. I like them. I like waving good-bye to them as they get sent off to where ever tests get sent after they get filled out. I like waving good-bye, knowing I did it to the best of my abilities.
This week, I have to do my Highschool Comp. Test. I don't see the point in doing it, yet I have to do it. And as my volunteer buddies are taking their Comp. Tests as well, Friday will most likely contain a debate on why the state makes us take all these pesky tests. Along with the usual smart remarks, searching for teeth, and informing the tourists that the T-skull is not real. It is in fact, a sculpture!!
Where was I? Oh, yeah! Tests!! Well, it could be worse. I did two of the five sections today, so I'm almost halfway done. But the three left are Math, Science, and Social Studies. I have maybe two days to get ready for it. Two days to remember every scrap of science & mathematics I have ever learned or seen on Cyberchase. I just hope there won't be any slope-intercept form stuff 'cause I can't remember a thing!! Heck, I can't even remember what I learned yesterday!! Wait, I didn't do school yesterday, it was Sunday. No wonder!! Any way, I'm praying that it all comes back to me by Thursday. Pray long & hard!!
We end this post with another quote.

And that just about sums it all up for test-taking.
More from a Slacker
'Sup people? There isn't really much to do other than Psychology or watch Life with Derick. Not awesome choices. So I'm blogging!! I'll probably end up doing some psychology later on in the night. But if you do it to long you can get really confused and tired.
Happy new year to everybody!! I got to record then later watch thirteen epsiodes of Naruto (the episodes were all recorded on New Years Eve, then staggered so that I have about 3 left now). It's really a good show, but nobody will watch it with me! Well, there's Jordan but I think she only watches to see Sasuke. It's always about Sasuke! I gotta say, Shikamaru is too cool. "This is such a drag!"? Too funny!
I have now worked over 100 hours at the dinosaur museum! Hee hee. Our latest job was finding little teeth in a bucket of sand. And when I say little, I mean tiny, itty bitty, teensy weensy, uber-little teeth. You wouldn't know they were there unless you had been looking for them. It's always rewarding when you find one, but there's always a real long time between finding any. Unless you happen to be Steve Smith (highschool volunteer, master of improv).
This is the first post of the new year! How do you like that!?! No really, how do you like it? :-P
I never really got the point of the whole New Year's Resolutions thingy majig whatsit. Making a promise the first day of the new year is a nice idea, but it doesn't do you any good if you don't take the time to make sure you keep that promise. Not sure if that is a run-on sentence or not. Hmm, whatever!!!
Did you know that hotdogs & cold-cut meats aren't good to eat when your trying to learn something? They carry a preservative in low levels that doesn't help your mind out when its trying to learn something new. But you have to eat 3 hotdogs or something before you're really messed up. Now, I have a reason to not like hotdogs! Also, caffine IS good for you whe your learning stuff!! Works as a stimulant. But the sweeteners can't be artificial. I learned that in Psychology!!
Well, I guess that just about wraps it up! Hopefully post later, Bye Bye!
